WaxWork(1988)

OMG! OMG! Why haven't I seen this before! At first, I thought it was going to be one of those crappy movies but bloody hell, I had a lot of fun. The non scary music was making me laugh since I was like, "Isn't this a scary movie?" The movie is not like a 5 star hit but it is enjoyable. I give it like a 3 out of 5. Great cheesy 80's horror flick. I loved the concept of the story. I loved the makeup. It is such much better than most movies. And I loved the fact that there was like a homage to horror characters from older movies such as: The Wolf Man (Our original werewolf), Dracula (So sexy), The Marquis De Sade (So sexy, loved the fact he was there), The Mummy, Night of the Living Dead, The Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll and Hyde, Phantom of the Opera, Frankenstein, Voodoo Witch Doctor and many more. I was expecting the worst and it came all right. Kudos! I noticed there is a second part. I'll watch it another time. I just hope it doesn't suck.

Little Shop of Horrors

I'm a fan of musicals. It has been a while since I saw Little Shop of Horrors and since I still haven't bought it on DVD, I decided to watch it on Netflix. I always say that a good musical movie has to always be memorable and of course, it must have catchy musical songs to sing along. Little Shop of Horrors apply plus you get to see famous actors doing funny characters. My favorite is Steve Martin's character. I'm more afraid of his character than the human eating plant. A crazy dentist who enjoys pain in his patients? Haha! But then again, I adore Bill Murray's character who tends to be a little too excited of going to the dentist. I don't want to say much but I always recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys weird plants form outer space eating humans in a tiny plant shop. :) It's an 80's movie which falls into the category of classics. I always wonder if that plant is the same one that appears in Super Mario games? They seem to like the same things, human flesh!
